It has often been stated, "A Director's job is never done!" This course is designed to help provide new directors with the basic tools to address foundational issues regarding the day-to-day responsibilities of program leadership. Essential issues such as hiring, recruiting, training and maintaining quality staff are discussed. Additionally, professionalism and leadership styles as important components of a well-run program are examined. Funding for this 1-hour training was provided by the Workforce Solutions as part of their Early Care and Education Quality Improvement initiative.
