Preschoolers can and should do science! Young children use their five senses to make sense of the world. Observation goes beyond simply “noticing.” It involves perception but also the recognition of how important or unimportant an observation is. Learn how to help children make and use their “Science Eyes: Seeing Science Everywhere.” Find exciting ideas to enrich children’s use of the sensory table, going beyond digging, scooping, and pouring. Check out ideas to build an “Observation Station” with cost-effective, simple, sensory-rich explorations your preschoolers will love. Funding for this 2-hour training was generously provided through a grant by The Boeing Company.
