Research indicates that the first three years of life are critical for physical, social-emotional, and intellectual development. During this 2-hour course, child care providers will learn about developmental patterns in infancy and toddlerhood, the three key domains of development, practical strategies for encouraging optimal development, and how to recognize signs of potential developmental delays in very young children.
This course was developed and produced by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service of the Texas A&M University System in cooperation with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Child Care Licensing Division, and using funds provided under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
A HIGH SPEED INTERNET CONNECTION IS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THIS COURSE.
