Course Information

There are many actions that can be performed to help prevent foodborne illnesses from occurring, especially in children. This online course is targeted towards child care providers and discusses food safety practices for the preschool classroom environment.

In this course, you will learn about:

  • food sanitation and safety in the classroom
  • how to ensure that safe food is served to children in the classroom

This course is eligible for 1.0 CEU or training hour for health inspectors/sanitarians or childcare providers in need of CEUs or training hours.
