Course Information

Healthy Teens, Healthy Future is a six-lesson series. Each lesson takes about 30 minutes to complete. This program is self-led and is geared toward 6th - 12th grade students.

Students will learn about:

  • basic nutrition, 
  • MyPlate, 
  • making healthy food choices, 
  • food safety, 
  • basic culinary skills, 
  • and the importance of physical activity. 

Each session will include a short lesson and a recorded recipe demonstration that can be re-created at home. At the completion of the program, each student will receive a certificate of completion.
